Art is not a luxury.
It can be, if it's a product for sale - but it isn't a luxury inherently. But a capitalist mindset wants to reduce it to that (as it does with everything else for that matter).

I wanted to make dragon oracle cards a few years ago, i even had a few finished... but that was right about when genAI hit and it totally deflated me back then.
But looking at the few cards that i have, i'm sad I never finished the project. And i still like them!
Maybe i pick this back up...

My current "in-use" pile of selfmade Sketchbooks ✨
Inside are folded papers (like selfmade zines) with 8 or 16 pages. The covers hold the paper with flaps, so no strings or sewing.
When they are full i take them out and unfold them to collect in an A4 binder.
Simple but i love this concept.

Like last year. We have no trick or treat tradition here, but i put out a bucket for anybody who would like some candy. The cat head is smaller then the bucket we had last year, but i refill it if it gets low :P

Finally have regular internet again (and nobody spying on us)
AND i bought a second hand bass from a really sweet musician in vienna (Epiphone Thunderbird - not a Gibson, who has that kind of money?! :P)
ofc i wanted it because of Twiggy - but i also LOVE playing with it ♥️

Today was a good day :>

i mean, i'm already in a very low mood, so i'm not the most active online - but this now isn't helping ofc.
tomorrow we will look into getting our own solution and we made the decision to look for a new flat again.
