Nice! I wish the Senate Republicans had done their job.
The House has done its job. We passed the supplemental budget in a strong bipartisan way. Compromises were difficult but necessary and ultimately led to a deal that two-thirds could get behind to enact the budget immediately.

Trump canceled John Bolton's Secret Service security detail, in spite of numerous threats against him from Iran. In 2022, the Justice Dept charged a member of the Iranian Royal Guard in a murder-for-hire aimed at Bolton. Shahram Poursafi, aka Mehdi Rezayi, remains free.

JUST IN: The U.S. added 256,000 jobs in December, surpassing expectations and bringing the total for 2024 to 2.2 million. The unemployment rate dipped to 4.1%, and wages grew 3.9% over the past year, far outpacing inflation.

Whether you believe the science or not, storms are getting more destructive. We can either get rolled by this or we can step up to find ways to protect infrastructure and people from the effects. And maybe we can do our part to stop creating the problem as well.
