How we integrate Wirtz is going to be interesting. Clearly playing as a 10 weakens our midfield balance so far now he'll need to play on the left. Long term I am sure we see him as a 10 but we'll need to sign different players before that.

I think its becoming clear our summer spend might have moved up signings due to Jota's situation. This clearly is a team envisioned for the future seasons with the likes of Salah gone. As absurd as it sounds we might not see the finished article till a season or two from now.

Well we did just that. We need to use it as a foundation to build on. I hope Slot realises we need to incrementally bed in new signings rather than make wholesale changes. That might work in the Eredivisie but not in the Premier League.
Hopefully tonight is the night.
Tonight I just want to see a good performance and some defensive solidity to build on.

Salah needs our support. He's going through a tough spell and is clearly still feeling the ramifications of the turmoil during summer. Yes he should have passed to Wirtz but he wants to score like the best attackers.

Hopefully this is a performance to build on. We need to focus on building around Ekitike and Wirtz. We can slowly bed in Kerkez, Isak and Frimpong once they've settled.

We're trying to bed in too many players. We should focus on Ekitike,Wirtz and Kerkez first. Once they've settled in you integrate Isak and Frimpong as well. We also need to focus on being more compact instead of going balls out attacking.
