They may *believe* that their products are providing for humanity, but what they're really doing is offloading the human responsibility to provide for other humans to a faceless machine.

I believe our immune systems will reject this before long but it's going to be an extremely messy process.

I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society).

We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it.

This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.
