I've decided to relinquish my claim on some cookbooks to my neighbors, and whatever's left will be donated.
And by some, I'm estimating about 5 dozen... and that's maybe a quarter of my total cookbook collection.

So I'm gonna try and push myself to do some more writing of fanworks, but hopefully not get bogged down by all the details.

Well, I know what I'm gonna do when I'm done with work today. I shall engross myself in in a good horror story with Alan Wake 2, especially with the release of the Lake House expansion and the Anniversary update.

So... with what I've got coming up, I will have had the following done over a month's time:
2 Vaccinations
2 sets of blood work
1 urine test
3 different physicians
2 major medical scans
4 different medical facilities visited
It's... been a lot.

Seeing people open up and chat and make connections here is kinda tough for me, as I'm reminded that I'm no social butterfly. I don't like talking, and while I try... it just feels like I'm not doing enough, but at the same time, I don't feel comfortable doing more.

A pleasant surprise came up with my medical appointment today, but it was tempered with the order of a new test. Still, looking to keep optimistic on this.

I keep running into the same problems whenever I try to do some writing. If you want skeleton of a story, a general flow line, concepts... that comes easy for me.
The problematic part is trying to find a way to translate my thoughts and concepts into a proper narrative.

Today, I had to say goodbye to a man who I've known for over 20 years. He was a good family friend and more than that, he was a man who always had my respect. I wish his wife (one of my co-workers) and his family memories of his love and peace in their hearts.
