We share deep concerns about Turkey’s new e-prescription requirement for hormones crucial to trans people’s healthcare. The Turkish system remains largely inaccessible, especially for trans asylum seekers. We fear severe consequences.

We welcome the announcement that the grace period for granted refugees to remain in government accommodation will be doubled from 28 to 56 days starting today. This is a crucial step towards ensuring smoother transitions for those rebuilding their lives in the UK.

Congratulations to Stan who was granted refugee status last week after a wait of nearly 5 years. We have supported Stan for the past 4 years, including the recent successful appeal against his refusal. He can now start his new life. We wish him all the best.
