- Also the reason why my bfdia20 drawing was fast and painless. everything goes smoothly when you have a set in stone idea (in my case, i was doing a scene redraw, so the idea is Right There visually)
animations are very fun and very cool but i need a solid idea for them. drawing is very fast if i have a solid idea (I USUALLY DO NOT HAVE THAT IN THE SLIGHTEST)

i feel like, for me, i'd lean more on tpot for illustrations and bfdia for animations, but that's actually the inverse of what i've made so far
i made an illustration for bfdia, and an animation set somewhere in tpot (excluding firey here's just there because why not)

i made storyboards and thumbnails (very rough storyboards) for the 1st time and here is what i learned:
1. make the thumbnails first! for one, they're fun. two, they get the ideas out before you forget them
2. uhh yeah that's about it. important lesson though

the Pilot Kakuno was such a good first choice. I love this little pen
(the previous unnamed pen i owned had a metal body, and it was too heavy to be a daily driver for me. or for requent use, really. the nib was also medium i think, and while there are pros to that, i much prefer the F nib i got)
