Guthega Skink (Liopholis guthega) on a recent visit to Falls Creek - this is an endangered species with only a few isolated populations. I was actually looking for something else so only got the one distant shot of this before leaving it undisturbed.

I am not much of a herper but am slowly working my way through those in my state. This is Hannah - Liopholis montana or Mountain Skink from the Wombat State Forest. A very nice skink indeed.

Lowlands Copperhead are by far the most common snake I find locally. They are super chill and never remotely agro.
