Hexic HD is still a total jam.

Unpopular opinion: GitHub Copilot is more of a hindrance than a help when given to a team of folks new to a language or system because they don't know any better and will let bad suggestions lead to code that technically works but is impossible to maintain. It's a tech debt generator.

Curious what impact, if any, the current corporate climate of RTO and general demoralization has had on open source development. I, personally, have been stretched too thin and find myself too tired and stressed out in recent times to really contribute like I once did.

I've determined that Doom Eternal and similar games where the premise is "run and gun" over tactics are not my jam. I like being able to sneak or play sniper. "Neverending flood of enemies vs me with low ammo" is not for me.

"G20" was super fun. I didn't know I needed Viola Davis as an action hero but I absolutely did.

If I ever want people to text me, I'll drive on a windy, unlit back road while at night while it's raining. Just did it, my phone blew up with messages. People I haven't heard from in months. Appointment reminders for stuff a week in advance.

I've taken to binging comic books like shows. I'll hang on to comics I get month after month and read a year or two worth of issues in an afternoon. It's far easier to keep up with the story continuity that way, at least for me.

Remember when Xbox wanted to go digital only and there were plans for being able to lend or sell digital games to other people? What happened to that marketplace? I'd love to lend some games to folks but can't unless I buy a physical disc.

The process for upgrading Raspbian/Debian seems unnecessarily complex. This is definitely one area commercial OSes like Windows and MacOS have over Linux. www.debian.org/releases/boo...

There is not enough out there written on how to exit an open source project.
