In light of the skinny budget (55.8% reduction), 6 past NSF directors and 7 NSB chairs have sent the House Committee on Appropriations a letter advising doubling the NSF budget.

Today I watched a partial solar eclipse with staff in Berkeley, CA but got no photos. In 2017, I watched a partial solar eclipse with my then 7-year-old and my mom on the National Mall in DC. My mom took these pics. Memories to save and share.

My 13 yr. old daughter recently started electric guitar lessons. Her first assignment: find 10 songs you want to learn. Many great modern options have been discussed. Sadly she did not include “Fake Empire" by The National on her list.
