Day 2 - Georgetown Plein Air Festival
Hiked in early to finish my painting and encountered a pack of coyotes, howling the sun up. I had 7 hours to complete my piece for the juried exhibition.

I've really been enjoying beadwork! It's become my cathartic evening activity and while I've primarily been making jewelry, I wanted to try something different, so I beaded the brim of my hat! I think it turned out well.

It takes me around 1-2 months to dream up and create a new original oil painting. This means I only create around 6 new pieces a year. I have received pressure to create faster, but art is like nature, it needs time to slowly grow and bloom when it’s ready.
