Until they arrive at the center where they will be tortured and killed in “experiments,” the macaques have to endure long and deplorable journeys crammed into small wooden boxes. Often without food or water and in extreme temperatures. Conditions that many do not survive.

The lack of invididual visibility in Human Rights, though bascially illogic, stay a core problem.

Einfach an Menschen zu appellieren, als würde der Mensch in Sachen Tieren und Umwelt grundsätzlich eine potenziell vernünftige Haltung einnehmen, beinhaltet, dass man Speziesismus als Akzidenz und nicht als Ursache betrachtet. Genau so werden die Gründe zur destruktiven Haltung nicht hinterfragt.

Tierrechte fangen an der Stelle an, dass Gesellschaft anders funktioniert. Jeder hat genau darüber andere Vorstellungen, was er von einer Gesellschaft erwartet. Tierrechts- u. Umweltbelange in ihrer Wechselbeziehung sind der Punkt an dem sich ein gesellschaftlicher Paradigmenwechsel abbilden würde.
