Where did the fucking summer go. I swear I JUST broke up from work, and now I've been back for four days already!? As is evident from my opening lamentations, I spent most of this month taking a well-earned break from my job wrangling thirty children (which has now gone up to sixty, as I'm working across two classes - yay, funding cuts) and got a good deal of rest.

Hello! I realised that in the ten(ish) years I've been blogging - across both of my blogs - I have never actually made my own book tag! So, I sat and had a wonder about bookish things I could use as a base and realised that one of my go-to questions for people is: What book made you a reader?

And I'm only a couple of days late with it! Wow, where did the past month go? I think I spent the first half of it at the theatre almost every night rehearsing for the play writing festival that I mentioned last month, since I ended up playing a small role in a third play!! I had an absolute blast and have made some new friends through doing this, which is just...so nice?

I have been coming back to this post on and off for literally MONTHS trying to find characters to fit these classes lmao. Some of them I've had to go a bit more metaphorical than others (particularly artificer, because I'm struggling to recall any kind of mechanic or jet pack in the Shakespeare canon lmao), but I hope you enjoy this chaos fusion of my interests!
