Is it just me or does it not matter what I do but everything on this thing sounds the damn same. Even all of the presets sound like different colours of the same image.

If you're in to Wavetable Synthesis of any kind then make sure you check out carvetoy.online. One of the best Wavetable creation tools I have ever seen with so many options to build really out there WTs, or even more mellow ones if you're that way inclined.
