“undoing a sacrificial death ruins the sacrifice” is such a stupid take and I’m SO sick of it. It’s the INTENT of the sacrifice that matters! If someone jumps in front of you to take a bullet for you but the gun misfires, does that suddenly make their willingness to die for you meaningless?? OFC NOT

there’s a sentiment to “be careful what you wish for” @ thfbs campaign comparing it to movies that never got made for complicated production/budget/creative differences. that’s not what happened here. director/writers were completely synchronized with lucasfilm. it’s cancellation was unprecedented
There is a documentary called THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN LIVES, which is all about the Tim Burton/Nic Cage Superman film that never got made. From EVERYTHING thing we see about this film, I feel would have easily been the worst and most divisive Superman ever…

She'd tried not to wake him when she left their quarters at 3am to update the journals with new coordinates to the Outer Rim - but he instantly felt her leave (even while fast asleep) & he never wants to *not* be near her ever again, so this is Ben trying his best to get Rey to come back to bed 🫶☯️💞
