Our friend's funeral was today.
Although it wasn't what took her, she had the same type of brain tumor as me. Her health was always poor afterwards, mainly due to the heavy medication she had to remain on.
I'm thankful that in my case, no medication was needed after my surgery... Sure, I lost -

Hubs and I binge watched all 4 series of Banshee, finally completing it last night.

MRI went well, no problems finding a vein for the IV (they've needed specialists more than once to locate my veins) so there were no delays. Now I'm just tired and wishing I had £20/$27 for Powewash Simulator 2.

Hubs wanted to upgrade before winter. Our old Kia Sportage didn't feel safe to him anymore, plus the 7 year warranty is expiring. Considering all this, and that he drives to/from work, in darkness, over a mountain, it was time to upgrade.
