Transparency Means More Than Talking About It
Governments talk openness — but too often, decisions are made behind closed doors. The Forest Hill project is the latest reminder that transparency must be practiced, not just promised.

GNB didn’t receive formal objections to the expropriation by the city of the NBEx grounds, including the NBEx board that said wouldn’t contest the filing.

Without objections, the city is free to go ahead with expropriating, clearing the way to redevelop. #Fredericton

I do not understand why taxpayers are needed to fund #AI adoption in NB contact centers when the tech exists in all modern contact centre platforms & vendors have adoption/training programs.

Just what value is being added here for $232,800? #nbpoli onbcanada.ca/support-for-...

It’s about dignity, hope, and purpose.

When we admit there’s a crisis but no one is responsible for scaling the response, we are failing.

NB Gov. reporting “84 permanent physicians” and “200 registered nurses” hired since October 2024.

Notice how the nurses aren’t mentioned as permanent positions like the doctors?

It would appear to confirm my hypothesis I wrote about last week. See this thread: #nbpoli
A recent report shows NB loses 62 nurses under 35 for every 100 recruited, which makes for a powerful headline — but it’s not the whole story.

This post explores hypotheses that might help explain why so many young nurses are leaving. #nbpoli #fredericton open.substack.com/pub/jeffthom...
