upon some research the last (and only?) time the leafs have been up 2-0 in the 2nd round of the playoffs post-1967 was in 1987 (which they lost 4-3 to detroit), and those 2 games were road games. they've never led a 2nd round series 2-0 with a home advantage since 1963 (lol)
weirdly doesn't feel like game 2 is tonight because of all of the dialogue. i like the framing in the globe that the best revenge would be to have a 2-0 series lead.
i also dont know the last time the leafs were up 2-0 in round 2.

perhaps the worst decision i have made in recent memory was checking the leafs score last night at ~1:30 am when it was 1-0 with around 14m left in the 2nd period. decidedly slept horrific as a result as i believed. refuse to watch the rest of the 1st round as a result
