A quote from yesterday. It hasn't aged very well.

Trump is probably the only one who is surprised by this attack.
Iran fires ballistic missiles at US military bases in Qatar.

Explosions seen over Doha.

The US deployed THAAD systems in Qatar in anticipation of Iranian attacks.

A year ago, I picked this deserted tiny calico kitten up from a road in Montenegro. Her name is Sofia! ❤️ - I'm a cat dad of two now, because a few months later, a second rescue cat (Iliria) followed.

Is the world a safer place now after the bombing of the nuclear facilities in Iran by the US?

I guess you know the answer to that question.

1/4. On the White House’s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.

On this side of the grave.
But then, once in a lifetime
The longed-for tidal wave

Another war crime by the man that is so admired by Trump and many in his administration.
Russia launched ballistic missiles at central Sumy.
Warheads were packed with shrapnel — likely the same kind used in Kryvyi Rih — designed to kill everything within 100+ meters.

24 people are dead.

In the video, a mother holds her bloodied daughter.
The girl keeps saying, "It hit me."

Free speech is of course still existing in the US - as long as it is not to voice a critical opinion against Trump and his ilk. In that case, you may lose your job, get blacklisted, get arrested, made disappeared and put in a torture prison in a foreign country maybe for life without due process.

The average tariff on US goods exported to the EU is about 1%, and not 39%. Trump is lying, as usual. And no tariffs on Russia, which doesn't come as a surprise. Why would he raise tariffs on his closest ally?

Europe's goal must be to cut off US companies from this market as soon as possible and to become self-sufficient. That will take some time, but it has to be done. Actions and words of the Trump gang made it very clear that the US is hostile to Europe.

Fun Fact: The Atlantic, the magazine and publisher that uncovered the Signal group chat scandal, is owned by a billionaire - Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs.

Contrary to Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos & Co., she didn't kiss the ring of the dictator and is committed to uphold democracy.
