Trump is demanding that Ukraine give up and accept that Russia won the war. Territory lost is now actual (Crimea) or de facto (the other occupied regions) parts of Russia. And for the privilege of signing the deal, Ukraine then hands over its natural resources to the US.

The U.S. proposal is expected to be discussed tomorrow in London. Ukrainian officials aren't thrilled.
