After sinking over 25 hours into Outer Worlds 2, I can say it is a massive improvement on the first. Combat is improved massively, feeling more akin to Cyberpunks gunplay at times.
Companions, questlines, dialogues, skill checks, the flaws system, visuals.
Everything is just... Fun.

Went to see the new Chainsaw Man movie in IMAX yesterday.
It absolutely deserves the rating it has in Rotten Tomatoes (100% critic score). A perfect adaptation, in every aspect. No panel ignored, animations were incredible, score was beautiful, and all faithful to the original art style

Part of what made this film so fun and brilliant in the first place was the animation. It provides much more creative freedom, and many more expressions and character movements that simply can't be replicated in live action without the use of weird CGI gimmicks.

Finally got the exotic sidearms for Gwynn in Destiny Rising. Now just working to level that, and get my artifacts to a good enough state to push her past 60k. A lot of work left, but the game is fun, which helps.

Some sad news today: unfortunately, one of my family cats, Jak, has been struggling for a while now, and he's let us know in his own way that it is time.
We'll be taking him to the vets for the last time tomorrow. Needless to say, not feeling the best right now. He's been in our family for 12 years

Managed to clear all challenges in Realm of the Nine, even while using Jolder for a *long-range* recommended final challenge.
Gold on all challenges, such a fun mode. And the endless version is also excellent. Easily repeatable, constant fun, and some really silly buff combos.

From the brief amount of Destiny Rising I've experienced (mainly clicking through the menus in my downtime at work), NetEase have done a phenomenal job adding features that should honestly be in base D2.

- Contextual lore tabs accessible while playing

Unfortunately, one of my cats is not faring too well. Went to my parents' to see him again, as I hadn't seen him for a week, and he is not looking good at all.
Its heartbreaking, and its mentally draining, knowing I can't do anything.

Edge 414 is out today. Inside, we’re on the launchpad with the design leads at Obsidian as they prepare to lift off with The Outer Worlds 2. Our features lineup also includes Suda51 and Swery65, the future of the survival genre, and a return to Hollow Knight in Time Extend.
