I feel like the number one thing that tax is for is helping disabled people live. What other possible thing could society need to do more than ensuring those who can't survive without help get the help they need? It's more fundamental even than roads. Helping each other is literally what society is

Yk, I never made this connection, but no fucking wonder autistic people are recorded to usually be less expressive. When you’re autistic, the world is often confusing and very frustrating. You’re taught early there’s a million things you aren’t supposed to do or say, even tho it looks rational ⬇️

Hot take: I think if you commit (explicitly) a violent crime, you shouldn’t be able to access a new selfID until your sentence is served. It’s temporal, and would dissuade bad faith actors to claim sudden trans identity only when facing charges.

The stories I'm hearing are horrific. I've had to talk some people down. Providers are being inundated with attempts by trans youth. The trans community is in a state of absolute crisis right now.
