I will never understand people who think it's the dead flesh that matters in stories of sacrifice.
It's just plain weird, it's so beyond the point of why sacrifices are considered meaningful in the first place.
The person surviving a sacrifice does not, cannot negate the sacrifice.

“undoing a sacrificial death ruins the sacrifice” is such a stupid take and I’m SO sick of it. It’s the INTENT of the sacrifice that matters! If someone jumps in front of you to take a bullet for you but the gun misfires, does that suddenly make their willingness to die for you meaningless?? OFC NOT

Does anyone feel like the lack of news for #thehuntforbensolo is a good thing? Like disney could have easily put out a statement thanking the fans for their enthusiasm and definitively stating that the project is cancelled but so far it’s just been no comment from disney or Lucasfilm hmmmmm
