Doing my partners family tree using Ancestry and FindMyPast. It’s shocking how many people just accept hints without doing actual research. This has a knock on effect and other people add people/documents to their trees based on shoddy research.

I do wonder what’s the next social media to go like MySpace did. Could be Twitter but I very much doubt it. People like their follower numbers and starting from scratch is off putting I guess. Twitter is barely moderated so the worst of the worst will stay.
