Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

Trump just spent an entire day and night with the execution-ordering, bone-sawing Saudi Crown Prince.

And the very next morning calls for the execution of Democratic lawmakers.

Does anyone think that's by chance?

Oh damn so did California voters just absolutely ruin the gop for the midterms?!

Like @crockett.house.gov says, god don’t like uglyyyyyyy
Whoa: A federal court just barred Texas from using its new congressional map, drawn by the GOP to target Dems.

"Substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 Map."

Court says the old map must be used in 2026. Appeals are certain. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

When you’re explaining the semantics behind different labels for child abusers, you are a disgrace and have lost the plot.

Imagine telling Americans who haven’t had a good nights sleep since last November that you finally have, and that you’re glad you voted yes to capitulating to the gop because someone at your church made you feel bad about the shut down.

These are the cowards you vote for.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

They said AI could lift the burden for us—making a more equitable society with more free time for creative outlets.

Now, the people in charge of AI are making companions for you, AI agents to replace you, and porn.

Do you get it yet? This iteration of AI is toxic and devolved and unintelligent.

@schiff.senate.gov as your constituent, I want you to know that I am incredibly angry about the capitulation of your fellow senate dems voting yea yesterday.

My mother worked her entire life, made all the right decisions and now her premiums will skyrocket and she already can’t afford it. Disgrace.
November 10, 2025 at 5:11 PM
@shaheen.senate.gov then why did you vote yea? Fucking liar. Good luck your career is over.
Shaheen: So let me be clear. No one in the senate chamber wants to extend the ACA tax credits more than I do.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

Uhhhhh stop. We don’t want technocracy, period.
California's politicians caved on AI safety regs, vetoing bills like AB 1064 to shield kids from harmful chatbots, all to keep tech giants from bolting with their billions and jobs. #BigTech
