I'm working on turned M's and O's scarves in Tencel (Natural and Coquille) and hand spun alpaca singles as an accent. The alpaca was dyed by Shades of Ewe Fibreworks here in Nova Scotia. I'm loving the texture and I'm hoping the energized alpaca will enhance the way the weave structure will shift.

This afternoon I'm working on baby blankets. That's a cotton warp with Tencel weft. I just finished one in a faded teal, and have brought in a bright lemon yellow for the next one. What's on your loom today?

Here's a sample of the weaving done in my house over the past few years. The gold/green is a DDW with tencel and Silkpaca. The striped fabric is tea towels. Next is an overshot scarf in tencel and sari silk. The final photo is a rubix cube that my kid wove on a table loom and turned into a pillow!
