I love to get outside: run, hike, and bike.
It started like any other #run this week, nice and mellow. But by the time I'd passed through the uni, my tits were getting chafed, and something about going topless opened up the throttle 🤷♂️ and then began the charge homeward.

Good evening, Wednesday! I had a blast chasing a ½ Marathon in #Tucson today, but I had a strict finish time and couldn't make it fit. Downtown was great as ever. But I was most glad that I found myself enjoying the city without leaning on nostalgia, but just enjoying it (mostly) for what it is.

Good evening, Wednesday! I had a blast chasing a ½ Marathon in #Tucson today, but I had a strict finish time and couldn't make it fit. Downtown was great as ever. But I was most glad that I found myself enjoying the city without leaning on nostalgia, but just enjoying it (mostly) for what it is.

Goodnight, Friday! Dang-diggity, what a week! Tuesday was the last day of my infirmity, ending with a 2-miler in the field, followed by a sweet little coffeeball #ride in the fog Wednesday, a bike shop parts #run Thursday, and retracting my Wednesday steps on Friday.

Good morning, Sunday! Well, my hip, shoulder, and arm are all feeling much better today. Head and neck are still good, but those ribs are bad. So I stayed in and made another rest day rainbow with the help of my 8yo, up from a nightmare. Bad things happen, but the world is full of good things.

Good evening, Saturday! Well, shucks howdy today didn't go to plan. Started off nicely #biking through NoPo and the waterfront, but that darn unpainted curb jutting into my lane sure cut that short. This was my first time really going OTB, and it was a heck of an experience.

Good morning, Saturday! Thanks for a nice #bikeride. The air was a cool 45⁰, but windless and dry, with a few whispery gaps in the clouds to reveal a glimpse of a star or the moon now and again. It was a lovely time to visit the waterfront and the Broadway and #Tillikum bridges.

How do you get a runner to hushup about #running? Give them a bike, apparently. I was so focused on cycling this week that I missed out thanking Wednesday and Friday for wonderful runs, focused on #MtTabor. Wednesday was also my 1st #halfmarathon since getting hurt in july

Thank you for the perfect storm of a break in the rain and the workday at the same time 😮 and for this lovely ##bikeride around NE #Portland. I was amazed to find a magical alley between Alberta and Wygant streets - for all the time I've been around there, I'd never noticed it before

Good evening, Tuesday! Ya know. I was pretty happy to sleep in again and snag a zippy 10k (with photos) with my pal, Lele! this morning. But then this afternoon, I got to work out with my son and coach him. THAT was rad! And then a bike ride with my other son after dinner!
