I don't hate people/apps charging money. But I do think that monthly subscriptions ARE inherently flawed, as somebody who's on disability and isn't guaranteed to have the sufficient funds to pay every month.
Overdraft fees are a pain in the ass to deal with, and so are losing access to helpful apps

That new gulpr thing essentially locks pets, galleries and even stomach capacity and pets, all behind monthly subscriptions. You get a small amount for free, but it's obvious they expect you to pay the more you play

I'm not sure if it's actually a trope since I've only seen it in two games, but I like it when a boss attacks you with a legitimate threatening attack, but later on in the fight, the same attack backfires by attacking the boss instead.
If it is a trope, I want to know what it's called.
