Why are professional dance shoes are called “character shoes”, like an insult??? Not everyone is able-bodied enough to dance in platforms/stilettos. I grew up in the dancing world, so it just irks me a bit that we’re expected to avoid dancing shoes in the drag world or else you get judged for it.😒🤷♂️👢
