Ohai there! Been a hot minute (MONTHS UPON MONTHS) since last time I drew anything @theunexpectables.bsky.social related! But I bingewatched a ton of episodes and here I am caught up! So have some sad boys during sad boy hours in "Train of Thought"! Featuring Milo and Ky! #fanart #TheUnexpectables
At the top, Milo Brightbeam, a Halfling sized Aasimar cleric with golden eyes and hair, wearing light chainmail armor with a warm tone ot his skin stands and looks to away, his eye glowing as he points to his right. At the bottom, Ky (Kyzar Valentinius), a Human presenting Wizard, lies poncholess in bed, clutching a pillow. He wears a longsleeved shirt tied at the wrists by threads, a belt around his waist and dark brown leather pants with a strap on one pantleg, as well as a pair of buckled leather boots. Both young men are crying and experiencing sad emotions over their theological, ethical and personal discussion regarding their opposing philosophies, belief system and approaches. They are both played by amazing voice actors in Gaijin Goomba and Edward Bosco respectively (COME AT ME, GAIJIN!!!) and I want these boys to hug it out by the end of this, because they love each other so much, man! Only two friends who love each other so much could hurt each other this much with words! "I need you to please leave my room, Ky." Mylo says with a shaky voice, trying to control the anger bubbling up in his throat. "Just something to think about, Mr. Brightbeam." Ky answers, speaking in a "refined" voice akin to his older brother Otho, as Ky desperately tries to hold back the shakiness taking shape by the moment. "As if I hadn't, Ky. My entire life." Mylo answers finally on his end, hurting for more reasons than one. "Then perhaps you can now empathize with me, a little bit." Ky finishes on his end, before the two part ways, with Milo having the last look as the two part ways. I love them, your honor!
