I never got to meet Kai or play with him, yet I hoped I could someday. Only saw him whenever I put on a Pro Tour and once at a Magicon top 8. In my eyes he will forever be the goat of comp magic and someone I aspire to be like. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy Juggernaut
We are deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Magic legend Kai Budde. His achievements in the game and community go beyond what we could say in one post. Our thoughts go out to Kai's friends and family in this moment.
