I can’t wait to build the #lego #ferrari Daytona SP3. It’s 3778 pieces with:
- V12 engine/moving pistons
- Working 8-speed sequential gearbox/paddle shifter
- Butterfly doors /removable roof

I’m one of those weird people who have travel “rituals”. One of the many reasons why I like staying at The LaSalle in Chicago is that they have The Hallmark channel. When I arrive, I like to unpack & steam/iron etc with predictable & generic romantic tropes, & characters running in the background.

The light this afternoon was incredibly golden just before a front came through. I loved the contrasts of the roiling dark clouds and the bright crisp glittering light in the foreground.
