No one realizes they are fox spirits since they possess other humans and they only see the surface disguise. If someone was spiritually strong they could see them as anthropomorphic foxes in suits.

Nowadays no one comes to visit and they find themselves without purpose until one day both foxes decide to leave and mingle with human. They eventually find a new home in a casino resort where Inari is a card dealer and Jester is a stage magician. They use their powers for entertainment now.

Some backstory for Inari and Jester. They are cousins who used to be guardian spirits for an old shrine which used to have a lot of visitors. Below is their default feral forms.
