I conceptually have no issues with delays or regional access, and this is true with #SonicRumble.
But I think the extended early access legitimately hurt the design here.
The game feels like it's "launching" with all the overdesigned cruft a f2p usually slowly accrues after two years of running.

Hilarious: The $45 price is them ON SALE for 27% off.

It's spooky times!
Starting Minecraft might have been a mistake. I lost a whole day yesterday to it.
I mandated to myself that I wouldn't be allowed to play today until I finish my entire To-Do list, but the impulse gremlin in my head is throwing a temper tantrum.

For as much as fans are talking about how much the hype has died, the "when" for this game feels irrelevant. Mobile free to play doesn't operate by the same patterns, and that market feels like a nightmare right now. Even if it launched a year ago, I'm not convinced it would have thrived.
