Y'know what sucks? Wanting to be someone to someone, but being unable to find anyone new that you mesh with. Not being able to even talk to new people anymore. You can't go back to old friends, most don't like you and others just have a perception about you that can't be changed.

People used to actually give a shit about me. I had a consistent audience on my tweets, 500 followers and an amazing group of friends, 3 groups to be precise. Now I have one friend, no interactions and I'm pretty sure everyone who follows me kinda just forgot about my account(s).

It's not that I can't be friends with aroace people, thats completely false. It's just that I like to have a flirtatious banter between my close friends, meaning that if you can't handle that (aroace or not) then I couldn't consider you one of my closest friends, just a friend.

I don't have friends anymore. Just one. The world kept spinning but one person's actions stopped me from following. It wasn't until it was too late did I catch up, but by then my friendships were far from salvageable.
