Tulou is the special fort-like buildings built by the Hakka. The history of Fujian Tulou dates back to one thousand years. It was listed as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 2008. Over 3,000 Tulou can be found in #Fujian, mainly in Yongding, Nanjing and Hua’an Counties.

The City Wall in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is the most complete city wall that has survived in China. It is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Xi'an city wall was built in the year of 1370 during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644).

The Pingyao Ancient Town is located 94 km southwest of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The town was originally built during the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046BC – 771BC) and rebuilt in 1370 of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). The Pingyao Ancient Town is one of best preserved old cities in China.

The Crescent Spring is located in Dunhuang, Gansu Province of China. It can be considered a natural wonder of the Gobi Desert. Just as its name implies, the lake appears like a crescent moon and with its crystal clear water, resembles a turquoise or pearl inlaid in vast desert.

Qixia Temple is located in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, China. It was built during the Southern Dynasties (420 - 589). It was originally the house of a famous monk and later donated as a temple named Qixia Jingshe, the place for monks or taoists to live and practice austerities.

Huanghelou Tower is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The tower was originally built during the Three Kingdoms Period by Sun Quan (182 - 252, King of Wu Kingdom) as a watchtower for his army. The cultural significance led to Huanghelou being made the symbol of Wuhan City.

Yungang Grottoes is located in Datong, Shanxi Province of China. The grottoes is a relic of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386 - 534). The sculptures developed traditional Chinese art melded with social features of the time. Listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2001.
