I like what Carney is doing. He is neither right wing nor left wing. He appears to be guided by common sense relative to what Canada needs now in a world that is rapidly changing. Poilievre’s spiral towards irrelevance continues…as a conservative, I am glad I voted for Carney!

Why did Carney win the Canadian election? Was it Trump? Was it the NDP collapse? Was it his platform? A combination of all of these? Possibly.
My guess it was elements of all of the aforementioned but most notably? Poilievre is a jerk. A mouthy little turd who actually thinks he is a tough guy!

I note that Poilievre talks quite a bit about bringing back accountability to gov’t. I think most Canadians would agree. The problem is that Poilievre is the guy who restricts media access to himself. In a Democracy, it is the media that largely holds the Government accountable. Pierre, full of BS!

Poilievre does not think strategically. If he did, he would have anticipated Trump, Trudeau’s exit and Carney. He would have had Plan A, B and C. Instead, he demonstrated immense arrogance in poll numbers. He could not pivot when necessary. He looked ill prepared. A world class leader? Not likely!

Poilievre is not an idiot. He is a political operative. He refuses to get a security clearance. Why? Is there an alliance with those who orchestrated the Coutts blockade or the violent arm of the trucker convoy? I will not vote for Poilievre only to find out later he is a threat to our security!

The difference between Carney and Poilievre? As a life long conservative, I feel that Poilievre’s sphere of influence is limited. Carney’s is global. Canada needs global right now!
