Some people have been using an import tool to bring over their old posts from other social networks. To avoid confusion caused by old timestamps, we’ve added a new visual tag to imported posts.

The post date is “11 November 2024 at 20:46” A screenshot of the UI which shows if you press the archival notice. “Archived post. This post claims to have been created at 5 June 2006 at 19:44, but was first seen by Bluesky at 11 November 2024 at 20:46. Bluesky cannot confirm the authenticity of the claimed date. Okay”
