I love many types of needlework, spending time with my family, and trying to make logical sense of the world.
I’m tired of dishes even with a dishwasher. I cook from scratch a lot and had 4 kids and my husband. For 30 years, I did 11 loads/week for 42 weeks and 14 loads/week for 10 weeks. Another 10 years of 8/wk for 52 weeks. Conservatively loaded/unloaded the damn dishwasher 22,220 times. I’m tired.

Friday's debut of new pandas at the National Zoo in D.C. is the latest chapter in a long tale of "panda diplomacy" between China and the rest of the world.
