About 42 million Americans will not get their SNAP funds this Saturday and will be scrambling for food assistance. I built a free, open source, community driven tool to help connect those with the resources they need.

I started this fun little journey making Listenarr 13 days ago on Oct. 6th as a way to learn C# and getting a better understanding of Vue (specially Pinia and Vite). It’s wild in 13 days I now have a complete a fully working, end to end, application. Added > Downloaded > Imported.

I’ve been working on making Listenarr more automated from end to end. I fixed a lot of the initial launch bugs; getting the workflow and docker builds just right was a fight for my life though.

Listenarr is out and you can now access its pre-release executables along with Docker images. Give it a shot!

I should’ve made a thread for all these Listenarr update posts, but I’m in too deep and committed now.

Today for Listenarr:
- I fix some login related issues and spruced up the related UI.
- Added API key generation and authentication for API backend security.
- Added inline internal library search.
- Added multi-file support for individual audiobooks (for disc/chapter based mp3s).

Today on Listenarr I worked on the quality score breakdown and a authentication method. The latter being pretty complex and super important for self-hosting!
October 10, 2025 at 4:07 AM
For Listenarr today I added:
- Search result scoring based on quality profile for both manual and automatic search.
- Better bulk editing.
- Automatic search and downloading with queuing and quality cutoff.
- Various UI/UX changes to help user recognition. (colors and icons)

My writing time is limited because I'm working on a FOSS project called Listenarr, similar to Sonarr but for audiobooks. Readarr has been scrapped making this a need in my stack.

Just a boy falling asleep after school while playing Pokémon Violet after getting his Shiny Miraidon (non-legit I’m sure). Thanks random FB trading groups! Crazy to think he’ll be another year older this week. Each year goes by faster and faster.

Oh the Saudis are buying EA? I can’t wait for the FIFA mode where we enslave people to build a World Cup stadium and then cover up our crimes against humanity. JK I’ve never played an EA sports game. Sad to see EA die this way though.

@diana2.bsky.social I’m please to share with you that my son is enjoying Yo-Kai Watch. My wallet is not pleased because 2 (all versions, but especially Psychic Specters) and 3 are expensive as hell.

Insurance is buckwild. You can pay for a surgery, then get a bill 2 years later for that same surgery because insurance just decided the anesthesiologist was out of network. There needs to be a statute of limitations for billing someone. You waited 2 years to bill me, but want payment in 30 days?

There are a lot of issues with Mastodon that go beyond just the UI or basic functionality and not being able to see all my followers is probably my biggest gripe. At that point it’s not just decentralized, it’s a silo.
