Saw a video essay by a now (rightfully so) cancelled youtuber. Was at first skeptical why anyone would give Blackbeard a sympathetic romance story. By the end of the vid, the celebratory queerness of it all was evident and I was a crying mess. Got HBO for it and played it on repeat for weeks.
