I am so damn tired of all of this death.

Friends, strangers, colleagues, enemies, so many people will die because of our addiction to money, power, and militarism — Israel and Iran exchange deadly missile strikes, with explosions in Tel Aviv and Tehran

With the murders in Minnesota, we have to stop addressing these forces as if they are not an insidious threat to American democracy. MAGA and it accomplices have set the stage for political violence. And we can’t dismiss this by saying the shooter was mentally ill or a lone wolf.

Despite powers that seem hell bent on drawing our world into more and more war, violence, and loss, I am reminded that there is always beauty in the world, and I must give as much energy to noticing it as I do fighting that which hopes to destroy it.
