I’m excited to be opening my studio on Level 2 at 36 Lime Street for this year’s Ouseburn Open Studios, taking place on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th November, 10am–5pm at36 Lime Street, Newcastle, NE1 2PQ. This vibrant weekend is one of my favourite moments in the arts calendar — a chance to welcome visitors into my studio space where ideas take shape and creative work grows.

To Miss Wells is a letterpress-printed zine created as part of the Women Artist-Printers Portfolio Project, an initiative led by Senior Research Fellow Angie Butler at the Centre for Print Research, University of the West of England. The project responds to the historically gender-biased traditions of the letterpress printing industry, still visible in contemporary UK print fairs and exhibitions. By centring women letterpress printers and amplifying their voices, the portfolio creates a platform for showcasing their work while foregrounding themes of allyship and solidarity.

‘City of Angels, Hell on Earth’ captures the political deals made by agribusiness in California that contributed to the devastating wildfires in January 2025. Parallels are drawn between the 1990’s novels of Octavia E Butler ‘Parable of the Sower’ & ‘Parable of the Talents’ that should be read as a wake-up call and call to action, a manuals on how to destroy the planet.
