After using this website for a while, I dont think it is suited for polite conversations. Any conversations really. The character limit is killing any willingness to elaborate on nuances and explain to each other.

I am sorry, but this is ridiculous - you can not not read something in your feed because you dont like it - you have to read it to realise you dont like it in a first place. By which time it is already in the system. Not engaging with something inflammatory takes too much wisdom for many

I think you are conflating people who want to argue unrestrained, and people who want to be an ass. Those do intersect, but clearly they come from different angles.

But don't people who reply already consider the post they are replying to as infringing on their freedom, because they disagree with it? As, something they dont like appeared in their feed, and they feel the urge to do something about it in return.

I havent found Balatro particularly enjoyable game, but the effort put into it is undeniable, and the scope for what it does is staggering. Congratulations on reaching such high pedestal, we need more games like Balatro.

Havent played the game yet so no comments on gameplay, but I find it grating that so many people jump to call it ugly and/or soulless after making a goblin in character creator. I think both character and world art look interesting and vibrant.

Slight spoiler for Fallen London, but the requirement of dream 15 for HD is so baffling to me. Its 105 cards played for each of 4 options, and it seems I would reach the railroad proper before dreaming up the storm. Seeking the Name felt less tedious, somehow.

Oh. My. God. That looks so silly that I love it! I joined on the wave of the last major map update, and seeing game transform was exiting as is, I had no idea how far it has come to that point. Sometimes I miss those strange early arts (if you couldnt tell by my pfp XD)

I also want to state that people like that ruin the reputation of ones who like to argue. I do, and often get into arguments for the sake of it. But ultimate goal (at least for me) is to reach greater understanding of the topic, not to annoy the opponent.
