In fact, it is quite the opposite. The solution is not persuading racists, but rather restructuring institutional power so that they face the consequences of their racist declarations and actions.
This is exactly the racist perspective: any awareness of racism is performative shouting, the solution isn’t restructuring institutional power but persuading them, giving them veto over all remedy and casting blame for any failure not their recalcitrance but our insufficient persuasiveness.

Unbelieveable!
The problem is not AI, but its misuse and the weaknesses of peer review. Banning AI is unrealistic and hides structural errors in publishing. What we need is not more burden on reviewers, but reliable systems to detect fabricated or unreliable references. #AcademicIntegrity #PeerReview #SciComm
I’m sorry, but it is disgraceful to be an academic who uses this technology to conduct research. It should be prohibited in all of our scholarly institutions, including universities and journals.

I don't know whether it is political or not. But I am sure that if the children felt they were truly loved, they wouldn't cut off their family. I think they made this choice because of toxicity within the family. Unlike past generations, maybe these adult children don't want to take it anymore.
