An excellent weekend away for cadets from Torquay Academy CCF and Plymouth College CCF. The cadets had to secure their base and clear the area of enemies before closing in and neutralising the enemy positions.

A key challenge for students - "I don't know what to do" often actually means "I don't know how to get directly to the solution". Deliberately modelling this where you as the teacher are not entirely sure of the perfect route and narrating your choices shows this is normal.
Math if we only focus on the final answer and not on all of the different ways we can approach the problem:

Ramadan in schools (via @teachertapp) is something we as teachers should be mindful as we should be mindful of all our students faiths. I haven’t had Muslim student for several years but have recently been minded of this as I have one now.

After an insanely busy week of marking assessments, feeding back, corrective teaching, a Long range RCO course and having to cancel an FTX that took weeks of planning a touch of bouldering for a meditative start to the morning before some paper reviewing and writing.
