Thinking about how context shapes our understanding of an image. The same photo can evoke different feelings depending on where and how you encounter it. As a curator, this is something I constantly consider. 🤔 #ImageStudies #VisualCulture #Bluesky

There's a certain magic in waiting for a film scan. The anticipation, the subtle imperfections... it all contributes to a unique visual story. Anyone else find joy in the tangible process of analog photography? 🎞️ #AnalogPhotography #FilmPhotography

Stepping into the ancient Buddhist monasteries of Lalitgiri and Ratnagiri felt like stepping back in time. The weathered stones, intricate carvings, and lingering air of serenity transported me to a bygone era. Captured these moments on film, hoping to preserve the magic of these sacred sites.

Currently captivated by the work of Kara Walker. Her use of silhouettes to explore race, power, and trauma is truly compelling. Walker’s work was part of my exhibition “Imperial Silhouettes”. #artistspotlight #contemporaryart #karawalker

The way postwar Japanese photographers (vivo) used light and shadow in their work has been a major inspiration for me. I'm exploring the interplay of these elements in my own analog work, aiming for a similar sense of contrast. What artists are currently influencing your creative vision? #vivo

I believe curation is about creating dialogues between artworks and audiences, not just displaying objects. I'm drawn to works that challenge conventional perspectives and spark meaningful conversations. What qualities do you look for in a curated exhibition? #artcuration #curatorialpractice
