London-based metal outfit Tempest Saint have released a brand new video for their latest single, 'The Cursed'. The track is taken from their debut album, Hyperbolized, and is available to watch now via YouTube: Formed in 2023, Tempest Saint have quickly carved out a name for themselves in the UK heavy metal scene. Their sound blends classic metal riffing with the melodic edge of modern rock, drawing influence from the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal.

Hereford will host a full-force metal gathering on Saturday, 31 January 2026, as ten bands unite for Horned Legions Arise — a one-day festival in support of Herefordshire Reuse and Recycling Organisation (HRRO). Held at The Victory (formerly The Jolly Roger), the event runs from 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm and promises a packed day of live music, community spirit, and charitable purpose.

US heavy metal outfit Mourn the Light have officially revealed full details for their upcoming album, "Sorrow Feeds the Silence," set for release on November 14th, 2025 via Argonauta Records. The album will be available on CD, digital, and coloured vinyl formats, with exclusive variants tailored for both EU and US markets. Artwork and layout were crafted by John Giannelli (Haunt), while mixing and mastering duties were handled by Jack Kosto (Seven Spires), delivering a sound that balances epic grandeur with raw emotional weight.

Swedish heavy metal stalwarts Bullet return with full force in 2026, announcing their new studio album ‘Kickstarter’ set for release on 09th January via Steamhammer. Formed in autumn 2001, Bullet have built their reputation on traditional heavy metal rooted in the late 70s and early 80s. Riot City have completed a run of shows across Europe, performing in several countries including Sweden and France. The band extends sincere thanks to everyone who made these final dates of the Electric Elite era a triumph. Originally slated to perform at Keep It True in Würzburg Germany, Riot City were forced to miss the show due to a cancelled flight caused by technical issues.

Peruvian heavy/speed metal band Blizzard Hunter has unleashed a new live video, capturing their explosive performance at Germany’s Headbangers Open Air festival. Formed in 2002, the Colombians have been pioneers in keeping the essence of heavy and speed metal alive in South America, with a career marked by incendiary records and tours that have taken them across the continent and even earned them the distinction of being the only South American band invited to the 70,000 Tons of Metal festival in 2018.

We last caught up with Culloden a few years back, when the band was still navigating its early lineup and laying the groundwork for its traditional heavy metal sound. Fast forward to 2025 and the band has not only survived a turbulent period but emerged stronger, sharper and more focused than ever.
