Mass Effect isn’t giving us answers yet — just breadcrumbs. But maybe that’s the point. Every tease, every rumor, every N7 Day… it’s all part of your story.

What happens when a Stargate commander decides he’s god?
Season 1’s “The First Commandment” turns the mission into a moral meltdown.

What would a Stargate RPG video game look like in your mind?
October 27, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Space isn’t boring — Bethesda is.
Bruce Nesmith wasn’t wrong — he just pointed to the symptom, not the cause.

Bethesda didn’t fail because of space. They failed because they built a galaxy with no soul.

I used to live inside Stargate Atlantis. Build-a-world one episode at a time.

Then streaming came, and the script changed: fewer episodes, higher production, less time to just be with a show.

A planet split between light and darkness.
A virus that turns people feral.
And the first appearance of Dr. Frasier.

Just rewatched Stargate SG-1’s “Emancipation” and… wow.
The early 2000s really said “let’s fix patriarchy with a sword fight.”
My full breakdown — cringe, context, and Carter — is live on The Nerd Bro:

The Stargate’s open again — but this time, the real danger’s already on Earth.

SG-1’s The Enemy Within delivers paranoia, heartbreak, and the moment the team finally becomes a family.

SG-1 still holds up.
I just rewatched the pilot episode “Children of the Gods” — and wow, it’s wild how good this show still is.
From Apophis’s first appearance to the reveal of the Stargate network, this opener did everything right.

It feels like the "Show Less Like This" doesn't really do anything.

Just rewatched Stargate (1994). The worldbuilding is still unmatched.

It treats ancient Egypt like a mystery we never really solved — and the Stargate just clicks into that gap perfectly.

If there was a Stargate somewhere under the desert… we probably wouldn’t even know.

Rewatching Stargate (1994) hit me with a wave of nerd nostalgia.

It’s earnest, mythic, and full of that ’90s optimism sci-fi used to have.

I wrote about why it still works three decades later 👇
