Congress has the power to subpoena witnesses, hold public hearings, and establish an independent commission to review the Epstein files.

What remains unclear is whether lawmakers have the political will to use those tools.

#StandStrong The US is an unsafe place to be.
In Oregon, ICE brutally attacked a U.S. citizen. Then, they abandoned her without offering any medical aid for her severe injuries.

When U.S. citizens worry that speaking Spanish could cost them their safety — our democracy is in crisis. This isn’t America at its best. We deserve dignity, not deportation desks. #AntiRacism #ImmigrantRights

Latino families shouldn’t conduct “convos about how to avoid ICE” at dinner tables. Immigration enforcement that targets identity ruptures trust in our nation and harms civic life. #HumanRights #LatinoVoices 🧡

People should be able to speak Spanish without fear of being treated as criminals. It’s part of who we are as a nation. We belong here, and it’s unacceptable that U.S.-born Latinos now feel unsafe in their own communities. #ImmigrationJustice #SayItLoud 🇺🇸🇪🇸

The files are so disturbing-for the DOJ to say there will be no investigation as a result is a travesty of justice!

As a lifelong MD/VA resident, the Post has been more than a paper — it’s been how we understood our community and the nation. Massive layoffs gut decades of local, sports, and foreign coverage. #JournalismMatters

happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

This makes me sick!!! How can we have this type of info in the DOJ Epstein Library without opening up an investigation?

Noah didn’t invent Trump’s history with Epstein — he satirized a well-documented relationship. Complaining about being mocked when you’ve been a headline figure for years? That’s thin-skinned insecurity, not leadership. #BringOnTheTruth
